In Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, Kazuma Kaneko designed her with a darker skin tone to reflect her connection to the underworld, and her color palette as a parody of The Powerpuff Girls.

In Takamagahara, if Ayato Katsuragi goes to one of the Healing Springs, he will hear a voice, and that voice asks him if he is the one who soiled the fountain. Depending on the choices made, Katsuragi will fight Kukuri-Hime. After she is defeated, the spring will be tainted with blood.

Nomenclature

Kikuri-Hime's name is believed to have originally been Kukuri-Hime, from the Japanese 括り (kukuri, ren'yōkei form of the verb 括る (kukuru, "to bind together")) + 姫 (hime, "princess", a compound of 日 (hi, a prefix used in reference to gods or the imperial family) + 女 (me, "woman")).
