Holy Wrath, also known as Heaven's Vengeance, is a recurring magic skill in the Megami Tensei franchise.
Profile
In Shin Megami Tensei II, Holy Wrath is a Force-attribute skill that deals fixed percentage of damage to all targets on the field, both ally and enemy, that have different alignment on the Law-Chaos axis scale compared to the caster. Despite being Force-attribute, it ignores any resistances. The percentages are 25% for targets on the opposite side of the caster and 12.5% for the caster's allies.
In Shin Megami Tensei if..., Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner, and Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, Holy Wrath/Heaven's Vengeance works like it does in Shin Megami Tensei II, though is now classified as Almighty and deals the same percentage of damage to both allies and enemies (12.5% in if... and Devil Summoner, and 50% in Soul Hackers). In Devil Summoner and Soul Hackers Neutral targets are unaffected, and, in Soul Hackers, Extreme Law and Extreme Chaos are considered to be the same as Law and Chaos.
