Chronos is a Persona in the Persona series. It is the ultimate Persona of Jun Kurosu.

Origin

Cronus is a Greek Titan who castrated his father Uranus to become king of the gods, and was further dethroned by his son Zeus and bound in Tartarus. Since at least the Roman era, he has been considered the god of the reckoning of time, perhaps due to the similarity of his name to the Greek word for "time".
The localization of Persona 2: Innocent Sin instead calls this Persona Chronos after the personification of time, who is only mentioned rarely in ancient sources outside of Orphic traditions. However, almost all Japanese official sources identify this Persona as Cronus: Chronos's Japanese PlayStation in-game profile calls him the father of Zeus and equivalent of the Roman Saturnus,[1] Kazuma Kaneko Works VIII describes the story of Cronus and states that this Persona is the same figure as the Vile-race demon from Megami Tensei II,[2] and Chronos's in-game creation quote mentions killing one's father and wielding a scythe—both references to Cronus.[3] The localization's choice was likely because the Japanese PSP version of Innocent Sin changed his profile to call him the deification of time and removed the references to Zeus and Saturn.
Design
Chronos has a mechanical black body. It has golden wings and a golden head, and it has a clock's face with distorted hands.
The cuffs and frills on Chronos' limbs are an allusion to the same articles of clothing on Angel Joker.[4]
