Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE

Five years ago, Ayaha performed at the stage play "Pilgrimage of Heinrich", starring alongside Chiakomi Tsurugi. However, everyone in the crowd apart from Ayaha's sister Tsubasa, and Chiakomi's son Yashiro, suddenly vanished without a trace. In actuality, Ayaha was taken to the Idolasphere as a result of Gharnef possessing Chiakomi to conduct the Opera of Shadows, which would be done by taking the attendees' Performa. While dormant in the Idolasphere, a Mirage named Aversa managed to take control of Ayaha by feeding into her fears of failing as an entertainer, allowing her to leech off Ayaha's Performa for power.

Ayaha would emerge in Tokyo five years later during Kiria Kurono's concert, still under Aversa's control. Itsuki, Tsubasa, and Touma followed her into Illusory 106, wherein she panicked upon seeing Tsubasa all grown up. To bring Ayaha back to her senses, Tsubasa tried reminding her of how hard she practiced every day, though Aversa's voice continued to shroud her vessel in self-doubt. Tsubasa's passion nearly reached Ayaha, until Aversa teleported her to the top floor of Illusory 106. The group eventually caught up, and as Tsubasa sang her song "Feel", Ayaha was able to regain control of her body. With her Performa exposed, Itsuki slashed its connection with Aversa, to which she flew through a portal connecting Illusory 106 to Tokyo. Tsubasa and her friends jumped back into Tokyo as well, defeating Aversa and freeing Ayaha for good. Returning to the Fortuna Office shortly thereafter, Maiko revealed she hired Ayaha for Fortuna Entertainment, hoping it would give her a period of recovery before she resumed her job as an entertainer.
