Purpose

Template used to automatically format a math formula for games where Partners learn skills by calculating their current level and/or stats. For example: in Shin Megami Tensei, a Partner can potentially learn a skill upon leveling up when the game calculates their current level, Intelligence, and Magic. If the equated numerical value reaches a certain threshold, a skill is learned.

This template will format a relevant math formula when inputting the game's abbreviation as a parameter. To ensure factual consistency across the wiki, this template should be used to render these formulae. The formulae should be provided prior to stat tables and learnset lists that reference the learn value.

Some fan websites use the term "proficiency" to mean the equated numerical value. However, as this term has not been found to be official, its usage should be avoided. Instead, when referring to the equated value in writing, it is preferable to simply refer to it as the learn value in lowercase.

Please note that presently the formulae for Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II, Kyūyaku Megami Tensei, Shin Megami Tensei II, Shin Megami Tensei if..., and Giten Megami Tensei: Tokyo Revelation have yet to be determined. If you know of a formula, please inform wiki staff so that it can be added to the template.
